Alcohol & Drug Allegations
On- and off-campus alcohol and controlled-substance allegations.
Overview
Alcohol- and drug-related allegations — possession, distribution, intoxication, or a positive test — can lead to conduct findings, loss of housing, and suspension, and they frequently run alongside criminal charges off campus.
Many schools maintain medical-amnesty or good-Samaritan policies that are underused; part of my role is to identify every protection the school’s own rules provide.
What I can help with
- Reviewing the allegations and the applicable conduct and housing policies
- Identifying medical-amnesty or good-Samaritan protections
- Coordinating with any parallel criminal matter
- Preparing you for the conduct process
- Drafting responses and appeals
- Working to limit sanctions and protect enrollment
